| Dutch ..... Beschermende kledingstukken die bestaan uit overlappende platen van staal, aluminium of gelaagd glasvezel die aan de binnenkant van een nylon jasje zijn bevestigd. Ze werden tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog ontwikkeld om vliegtuigbemanningen te beschermen tegen scherven van luchtdoelprojectielen en worden tegenwoordig veel gebruikt door grondstrijdkrachten. |
| Spanish ..... Prenda protectora consistente en placas sobrepuestas de acero, aluminio o fibra de vidrio amalgamada adheridas dentro de una chqueta de nailon. Se desarrolló durante la II Guerra Mundial para proteger a la tripulación aérea de los fragmentos procedentes de las bombas antiaéreas, y en la actualidad son también ampliamente utilizados para el-EN REVISION |
