Note: Modernist chair designed by Hans J. Wegner ca. 1950, and manufactured by Carl Hansen. The frame is of beech and the seat is constructed of woven paper cord. Part of the backrest is in the form of the letter 'Y,' from which the chair derived its name.

| German ..... Moderner Stuhl, von Hans J. Wegner ca. 1950 entworfen und von Carl Hansen hergestellt. Der Rahmen besteht aus Buchenholz und die Sitzfläche aus einem Papier-Kordel-Geflecht. Ein Teil der Rückenlehne ist in Form des Buchstaben „Y“ gestaltet, von dem sich der Name des Stuhles ableitet. |
