Note: Zodiac symbol of a young woman, roughly based on the constellation of the same name. The zodiak signs have survived from classical Greek and Roman decoration, were popular in Northern European Romanesque and Gothic churches, and often found in Medieval psalters and books of hours symbolizing each month in which the sun enters the related constellation. They have also been used as decoration on ceilings, maps, timepieces, and astronomical instruments.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 由年輕仕女所代表的星座符號，大約是根據與其同名的星座而設計出來的。該星座符號自古希臘和羅馬時期的裝飾留存至今，在北歐的羅馬式及哥德式教堂中很盛行，並且時常可於中古世紀禮拜用的詩篇歌集和每日祈禱書中見到，它們象徵了太陽在每一個月所進入之相關星座區域。星座符號也用來做為天花板、地圖、鐘錶計時器，以及天文儀器的裝飾。

| Dutch ..... Dierenriemteken van een jonge vrouw, ruwweg gebaseerd op het gelijknamige sterrenbeeld. De tekens van de dierenriem, overblijfselen van Oudgriekse en Romeinse decoraties, waren populair in de romaanse en gotische kerken van Noord-Europa. Ze worden ook vaak aangetroffen in middeleeuwse psalters en getijdenboeken als symbool van iedere maand waarin de zon in het betreffende sterrenbeeld komt. Daarnaast zijn ze gebruikt als decoratie op plafonds, kaarten, uurwerken en astronomische instrumenten. |
| Spanish ..... Símbolo del zodiaco de una joven mujer, basado aproximadamente en la constelación del mismo nombre. Los signos del zodiaco han sobrevivido desde la decoración clásica griega y romana, eran popular en el románico del norte europeo e iglesias góticas y frecuentemente en salterios medievales y libros de horas, que simbolizan cada mes en el cual el sol entra a la constelación relacionada. También han sido usadas como decoración de cielos, mapas, relojes e instrumentos de astronomía. |
