Note: Refers to the style developed in the island region of Timor which later spread to various parts of Indonesia. The style is driven by territorial expansion, Portuguese colonialism, and a maritime trading culture. The style features traditional batik crafts, relief carvings, and jewelry designs of chest ornaments, modesty plates (badong or cupeng), headdresses comprised of gold repoussé, and gilded bracelets. Popular motifs in jewelry design and relief carvings are the boat symbol, the snake, and the buffalo horn, signifying rank and lineage. Wood carving and drawing designs in the style feature scroll and curvilinear shapes emphasized through the use of white chalk rubbed into incision and various Portuguese designs.

Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de stijl die tot ontwikkeling kwam op Timor en zich later uitbreidde naar overige delen van Indonesië. De stijl hangt sterk samen met territoriale uitbreidingen, het Portugese kolonialisme en de maritieme handelscultuur. De stijl wordt gekenmerkt door traditioneel batikwerk, reliëfwerk, kistornamenten met sieraden, kuisheidsschilden (badong of cupeng), hoofdtooien met goudwerk en vergulde armbanden. Veelvoorkomende motieven in sieraden en reliëfwerk zijn het bootsymbool, de slang en de buffelhoorn, die de rang en de afstamming aanduiden. Houtsnijwerk en tekeningen in deze stijl worden gekenmerkt door krullen en kromlijnige vormen die worden benadrukt door wit krijt dat in insneden is ingebracht, en verschillende Portugese ontwerpen. 
Spanish ..... Se refiere al estilo desarrollado en la región de la isla de Timor el que más tarde se extendió a varias partes de Indonesia. El estilo es impulsado por la expansión territorial, el colonialismo portugués y una cultura comercial marítima. El estilo presenta artesanías batik tradicionales, relieves tallados y diseños de joyería de ornamentos para el pecho, placas de recato (badong o cupeng), tocados consistentes de repoussé de oro, y pulseras doradas. Los motivos populares en diseño de joyería y relieves tallados son el símbolo del barco, la serpiente y el búfalo corneado y significan rango y linaje. El tallado en madera y los diseños de dibujo en el estilo formas de voluta y curvilíneas enfatizadas a a través del uso de tiza blanca frotada en la incisión y varios diseños portugueses.
