Note: Primarily refers to the period of the prominent Later Ly dynasty (1010-1225 CE) established in the Red River Delta region, but may also refer to the style and period of the lesser-developed Earlier Ly dynasty (544-c. 603 CE). The style of Later Ly period is driven by dynastic stability and is generally thought to have helped influenced the style of the modern Vietnamese state. In architecture, the period features Buddhist temples with indigenous innovations such as the use of stone, superimposed trusses, beams and half-columns and the use of eaves decorated with terracotta symbols. A prime architectural example from this period is the Lotus Temple (1049 CE) in Hanoi, featuring decorative motifs in terracotta along the roof ridges, a distinct lotus-shaped construction, and a complex truss system consisting of intersecting beams and columns. In sculpture, the period features Buddha figures seated on platforms with dragon and flower decorations, relief panels reflecting Cham or Chinese art styles, stupas with sculpted motifs of oak and vine leaves, and statues of lions, elephants, buffaloes, and horses each on a lotus pedestal and carved from a single block of stone.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 主要用指建於紅河三角洲地區的著名後李朝時代（西元1010年至1225年），不過也可用指發展較早期的前李朝風格與時代（西元544年至約603年）。後李朝時代的風格是在朝代穩定後產生，一般認為李朝風格相當地影響了現代越南風格的出現。建築方面，此時代的特色可見於展現了當地創新元素的佛教寺廟之上，諸如使用石頭、附加的桁架、橫樑、半身柱以及飾以陶瓦的屋簷。本時代的主要建築是河內的蓮花寺（Lotus Temple，西元1049年），蓮花寺的特色展現於屋脊上赤土製的裝飾圖案、獨特的蓮花形構造、一個包括交叉橫樑與柱子的複雜桁架系統。雕刻方面，本時代的特色則可見於安坐在飾有龍與花朵平台上的佛陀雕像、反映出佔婆族或中國藝術風格的浮雕板、上有橡葉與藤葉雕刻圖案的舍利塔、獅子雕像、大象雕像、野牛雕像、馬匹雕像等，這些雕像都置於蓮花座上，並以單一石塊雕製而成。 |
| Dutch ..... Verwijst in hoofdzaak naar de periode van de belangrijke Late Ly-dynastie (1010-1225 n. Chr.), die in de delta van de Rode Rivier tot ontwikkeling kwam, maar kan ook verwijzen naar de stijl en periode van de minder ontwikkelde Vroege Ly-dynastie (544-603 n. Chr.). De stijl van de Late Ly-dynastie ontstond in een sfeer van dynastieke stabiliteit en heeft de stijl van de moderne Vietnamese staat mede beïnvloed, zo wordt algemeen gedacht. In de architectuur wordt de periode gekenmerkt door boeddhistische tempels met inheemse innovaties zoals het gebruik van steen, bovengeplaatste spanten, balken en halfzuilen, en het gebruik van overhangende dakranden met symbolen in terracotta. Een voorbeeld bij uitstek van de architectuur uit deze periode is de Lotustempel (1049 n. Chr.) in Hanoi, met decoratieve motieven in terracotta langs de dakranden, een duidelijk lotusvormige constructie en een complex spantensysteem met elkaar kruisende balken en zuilen. In de beeldhouwkunst wordt de periode gekenmerkt door Boeddhafiguren gezeten op verhogingen die gedecoreerd zijn met draken- en bloemmotieven, reliëfpanelen uitgevoerd in een Cham-stijl of Chinese stijl, stoepa's met gebeeldhouwde motieven van eiken- en druivenbladeren, en beelden van leeuwen, olifanten, buffels en paarden die afzonderlijk op een lotusvoetstuk zijn geplaatst en zijn beeldgesneden uit één blok steen. |

Principalmente se refiere al período de la prominente dinastía Ly posterior (1010-1225 d.C.) establecida en la región del Delta del Río Rojo, pero también puede referirse al estilo y período de la dinastía Ly más temprana y menos desarrollada (544-c. 603 d.C.). El estilo del período Ly posterior se basa en la estabilidad dinástica y generalmente se piensa que ha ayudado a influir en el estilo del estado vietnamita moderno. En arquitectura, el período ofrece templos budistas con innovaciones indígenas como el uso de piedra, bragueros sobrepuestos, vigas y media columnas y el uso de aleros decorados con símbolos de terracota. Un ejemplo arquitectónico de primera clase de este período es el Templo del Loto (1049 d.C.) en Hanoi, que presenta motivos decorativos en terracota a lo largo de las canaletas del techo, una construcción en forma de loto distinta y un sistema del braguero complejo que consiste en intersectar vigas y columnas.
