Note: A process of enameling similar to cloisonné, except that the narrow wires or strips of metal are soldered to each other instead of to a metal base. Usually applies to jewelry and metal objects but may also apply to porcelain decorated by this technique such as that produced at Limoges in the 19th century.

| Dutch ..... Een emailprocédé dat vergelijkbaar is met de cloisonné-techniek, behalve dat de smalle metalen draden of stroken aan elkaar vast zijn gesoldeerd in plaats van aan een metalen ondergrond. De term wordt doorgaans gebruikt in verband met sieraden en metalen voorwerpen, maar kan ook betrekking hebben op porselein dat met behulp van deze techniek is versierd, zoals het porselein dat in de 19e eeuw in Limoges werd gemaakt. |
| Spanish ..... Proceso de esmaltado similar al cloisonné, excepto que los alambres o cintas delgadas de metal son soldadas entre sí sobre una base de metal. Habitualmente aplicada a joyería y objetos metálicos, pero puede aplicarse también a porcelana decorada con esta técnica como la producida por Limoges durante el siglo XIX. |
