| Dutch ..... Aquatintprocédé waarbij de afbeelding met een in water oplosbare oplossing op de plaat wordt getekend. Hierbij wordt de plaat bedekt met een grondlaag en in water ondergedompeld, zodat de solutie oplost, de grondlaag omhoog komt en de delen van de plaat die de afbeelding vormen, worden blootgelegd, zodat de plaat kan worden geëtst. |
| Spanish ..... Proceso de aguatinta en el cual la imagen se dibuja en la placa con una solución soluble en agua. La placa se encuentra cubierta con un fondo y sumergida en agua, la que disuelve la solución, levanta el fondo y expone las áreas de la imagen, de modo que la placa queda grabada. |
