Note: Valved soprano aerophones first developed in Austria in the 1830s and used there in military bands. Elsewhere it is used primarily in concert bands and jazz bands. A flugelhorn has three valves, a medium sized bell, a conical bore wider than the cornet, and it is usually pitched in B, occasionally in C. It is played with a cup mouthpiece. The term is sometimes used erroneously to refer to soprano and sopranino saxhorns. |

Chinese (traditional) ..... 活栓型最高音部樂聲的管樂器,最早是在1830年代於奧地利所發展出來的,並且運用於當地的軍隊樂隊之中。在其他地方,此種樂器主要用於音樂會的樂隊或者是爵士樂的樂隊之中。一支粗管短號有著三道活栓、一個中型的喇叭口、一道短號(似小號的銅管樂器)還要寬闊的圓錐形口徑,而且它通常的音調是C調。它是以一個杯子狀的吹口來吹奏的。此一詞彙有的時候被錯誤地用來指稱最高音部和高音部的薩克斯喇叭。 |
Dutch ..... Sopraanbugels met ventielen, een wijde conische boring en een middelgrote klankbeker, die met een ketelmondstuk worden bespeeld. Ze hebben de vorm van een helicon, trompet of tuba en werden tussen 1820 en 1830 in Oostenrijk uitgevonden. |
German ..... Mit Ventilen ausgestattetes Sopran-Aerofon, zuerst in Österreich entwickelt und dort in den 1830er Jahren in Militärkapellen eingesetzt. Andernorts ist es hauptsächlich in Blasorchestern oder Jazzkapellen benutzt worden. Ein Flügelhorn hat drei Ventile, einen mittelgroßen Schalltrichter und eine konische Röhre, die weiter als beim Kornett ist. Gewöhnlich ist es in B, seltener in C gestimmt und wird mit einem Kesselmundstück gespielt. Die Bezeichnung wird manchmal fälschlicherweise für das Sopransaxhorn benutzt. |
Spanish ..... Aerófonos soprano de válvulas con un amplio diámetro interior cónico y una campana de tamaño mediano, que se tocan con una boquilla de copa y construídos en forma helicoidal, de trompeta o de tuba, inventados en Austria entre 1820 y 1830. |
