Note: Electroacoustic stringed instruments more or less in the form of guitars, occurring in two types. One has a hollow body which functions somewhat like a resonator; the other has a solid body serving solely as a mounting block for the bridge and electronic apparatus, and to bear the strings. In both types the sound is electronically amplified and its tone modified by electronic controls.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 外觀類似吉他，裝有琴弦的電聲樂器，分成兩種形式，一種具有當作共鳴箱使用的空心琴身；另一種則為實心琴身的吉他，琴身僅用來作為琴馬和電子儀器設備的支架，並裝配有琴弦；兩種類型皆能透過電子設備擴大聲音，其音調也能藉由電子控制調整。 |

Uno tiene un cuerpo hueco que funciona un tanto como resonador; el otro tiene un cuerpo sólido que sirve solamente como soporte para montar el puente y los aparatos elctrónicos, y para portar las cuerdas. En ambos tipos el sonido es amplificado electrónicamente y su tono es modificado por controles electrónicos. |
