Note: Low-skulled helmets that curve up and out at the top to form a flattened point along the line of sight, forming a thin gap between bevor and skull which served as an eye slit. Examples date from the late 14th to the 16th century, used in jousts rather than battle.

Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Helmen met een lage helmkap, die aan de bovenkant naar boven en naar voren krullen en een platte punt vormen die langs het gezichtsveld loopt, waardoor er een smalle ruimte wordt gecreëerd tussen de helmkap en het kinstuk die als oogspleet fungeert. Ze werden vanaf het eind van de 14e eeuw tot in de 16e eeuw gebruikt bij steekspelen. 
German ..... Flach-schädeliger Helm, der sich aufwölbt und aus der Oberseite heraus einen abgeflachten Punkt entlang der Sichtlinie formt, eine schmale Lücke zwischen dem Kinnreff und dem Schädel bildet, der als Augenschlitz dient. Beispiele datieren vom späten 14. bis zum 16. Jahrhundert, eher in Turnieren als auf dem Schlachtfeld benutzt. 
Spanish ..... Yelmo de casco bajo que se curva hacia arriba y hacia fuera en la parte superior para formar una punta aplanada a lo largo de la línea de visión, originado un agujero delgado entre la babera y el casco, el cual sirve como perforación del ojo. Fueron utilizados desde finales del siglo XIV hasta el siglo XVI en las justas.
