Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Wordt algemeen gebruikt voor de categorie van kostuums die zijn ontworpen om te dragen ter bescherming van het lichaam tijdens een gevecht. Onderdelen van het harnas die een vast onderdeel zijn van of die bevestigd zijn aan andere delen en die niet afzonderlijk kunnen functioneren staan vermeld onder 'wapenrustingonderdelen'. Gebruik 'harnassen' als het specifiek gaat om harnasonderdelen die als geheel zijn ontworpen met het oog op zekere eigenschappen die nodig zijn voor een bepaalde functie of gelegenheid. 
German ..... Bezieht sich in der Regel auf die Kategorie von Kleidung, die entworfen wurde, um den Körper im Kampf zu schützen. Rüstungsteile, die immer Teil von anderen Stücken sind oder an anderen Stücken befestigt sind und nicht alleine funktionieren können, werden unter dem Oberbegriff "Rüstungsbestandteile" zusammengefasst. Für spezielle Gruppen von Rüstungsteilen, die als Ganzes entworfen wurden, um bestimme technische Eigenschaften zu besitzen, um für einen bestimmten Zweck oder Anlass zu taugen, siehe "Rüstungen". 
Spanish ..... Úsese generalmente para designar esa categoría de vestimenta diseñada con el objeto de ser llevada como protección del cuerpo en los combates. Las piezas de la armadura que son siempre partes físicas de o se encuentran fijadas a otras piezas de modo que no pueden funcionar solas, se ubican bajo "componentes de armadura". Para grupos específicos de piezas de armadura diseñadas como un todo y que poseen características físicas particulares que se ajustan a fines u ocasiones particulares, use "armadura”.
