Note: Refers to the style and period that coincided with the reign of Orhan, 1324 to 1362. The earliest royal mosques built during this period were of two types. The first was the single-domed chamber with or without a portico. The second type consisted of a five-part portico leading to a domed central chamber, which on axis opened through an arch to the mosque proper. Two flanking chambers, probably barrel-vaulted, opened into both the porch and the domed chamber. In 1339, Ohran began a similar mosque at Bursa, with a domed chamber preceding the central space, and double flanking rooms opening into the central chamber. Also of this period, is the "Silver Tomb" of Osman, so named for its gleaming lead dome.

| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de stijl en periode die samenvielen met de heerschappij van Orhan, van 1324 tot 1362. De vroegste koninklijke moskeeën die in deze periode werden gebouwd, zijn onder te verdelen in twee typen. Het eerste type was een ruimte met één koepel met of zonder portiek. Het tweede type bestond uit een vijfdelig portiek dat leidde naar een centrale, overkoepelde ruimte, met door het midden een boog die leidde naar de moskee zelf. Twee aangrenzende ruimtes, waarschijnlijk met een tongewelf, liepen uit in het portiek en de overkoepelde ruimte. In 1339 begon Ohran met de bouw van een soortgelijke moskee in Bursa, met een overkoepelde ruimte vóór de centrale ruimte, en dubbele aangrenzende ruimten die doorliepen in de centrale ruimte. Ook uit deze periode stamt de 'zilveren tombe' van Osman, die zo werd genoemd vanwege de glanzende loden koepel. |
| Spanish ..... Se refiere al estilo y periodo que coinciden con el reinado de Orjan, 1324-1362. De la más tempranas mezquitas reales construidas durante este periodo se presentan dos tipos. La primera presenta sólo una sala con cúpula, que puede o no contar con pórtico. El segundo tipo consiste en un pórtico pentapartita que conduce a la sala central cupulada, con un eje abierto a través de un arco hacia la propia mezquita. Dos salas adyacetes, probablemente con bóveda de tambor abierta tanto hacia al pórtico como a la sala cupulada. En 1339 Orjan comenzó una mezquita similar en Bursa, con una sala cupulada precedida de un espacio central, deambulatorios dobles a los costados abiertas hacia la sala central. También de este periodo es la "Tumba Plateada" de Osmán, llamada así por la cúpula de plomo reluciente. |
