|
Note: Refers to the style of wall painting first developed in Rome during the reign of Augustus, and later in Pompeii. In its early phase, the style is characterized by fanciful, elegant, slender ornament, partial perspectives and unstable planes separated by solid areas of typically black, red or yellow. In the 1rst century CE, the mature Third Style featured increasingly elaborate architectural and mythological scenes.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 指首見於奧古斯都統治時期的羅馬，而後發展於龐貝的壁畫風格。在此風格早期階段，其特徵為富想像、優雅而纖細的裝飾、局部的透視，以及由典型黑色、紅色或黃色構成的堅實畫面區塊所分隔出的不規則平面。而在西元一世紀的成熟期，精巧的建築與神話景象則逐漸成為第三風格的特色。 |
| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de stijl van muurschilderingen die voor het eerst werd ontwikkeld in Rome tijdens de heerschappij van Augustus en later ook in Pompeii. In de vroege fase kenmerkt deze stijl zich door fantasievolle, elegante, ranke ornamenten, partiële perspectieven en wisselende vlakken, gescheiden door effen zwarte, rode of gele vlakken. In de 1ste eeuw na Chr. toonde de volwassen Derde stijl zich in overdadige architectonische en mythologische scènes. |
| Spanish ..... Se refiere al estilo de pintura mural que se desarrolló por primera vez en Roma durante el imperio de Augusto y después en Pompeya. En su fase temprana, el estilo se caracteriza por ornamentos estilizados, elegantes, delgados e imaginativos, perspectivas parciales y planos inestables separados por áreas sólidas típicamente negras, rojas o amarillas. En el siglo I d.C., el Tercer Estilo maduro ofreció escenas arquitectónicas y mitológicas cada vez más detalladas. |
