Note: Refers to the period from the 8th to the 13th century in southern Thailand, named for the former maritime center known as Srivijaya. Artistic production from this period centers around a diversity of styles reflecting its cross-cultural traditions. The period also features conventions from Pala Indian art such as the focus on details of dress, jewelry, throne backs, and body haloes. In sculpture, the period features Mahayana Buddhist images and highly developed quadrangular clay votive tablets which became a widespread international style in much of Southeast Asia and depict the Mahayana pantheon. In architecture, the period features temples in cruciform plans with cellas surrounded by smaller shrines.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 指西元八至十三世紀期間於泰國南部發展的風格，以前海事中心室利佛逝命名。此風格的藝術作品著重多元的風格，反映跨文化的傳統。此時代的特色亦展現來自於帕拉印度藝術（Pala Indian art）的傳統上，例如：著重衣服、珠寶、王座背面與身體光環等細節。雕刻方面，此風格的特色則可見於於大乘佛教神像、當時高度發展的四邊形黏土還願匾額，並成為國際風格流傳於南亞各地，板上多描繪大乘佛教的眾神。建築方面，此時代以內殿環繞著小神龕的十字型結構寺廟最具代表性。

| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de periode van de 8ste tot de 13de eeuw in zuidelijk Thailand, genoemd naar het vroegere maritieme centrum dat bekend stond als Srivijaya. De artistieke productie uit deze periode manifesteert zich in een diversiteit van stijlen die de interculturele tradities van deze periode weerspiegelen. Deze periode omvat ook conventies uit Pala-Indiase kunst, zoals de nadruk op kledij, sierraden, de achterkant van tronen en stralenkransen rond lichamen. In de beeldhouwkunst manifesteert deze periode zich in Mahayana-boeddhistische afbeeldingen en zeer nauwkeurig uitgewerkte vierhoekige votieftabletten van klei die zich ontwikkelden tot een zeer wijd verspreide internationale stijl in een groot gedeelte van Zuid-Oost Azië en die het Mahayana-godendom afbeelden. In de architectuur manifesteert deze periode zich in kruisvormige plattegronden met cellae die worden omringd door kleinere schrijnen. |
| Spanish ..... Alude al período desde el siglo VIII al siglo XIII en Thailandia del sur, denominado por el antiguo centro marítimo conocido como Srivijaya. La producción artística de este período se centra alrededor de una diversidad de estilos que reflejan sus tradiciones culturales mixtas. El período también ofrece convenciones del arte Pala indio tales como la atención en los detalles del vestido, joyería, respaldos de tronos y halos de cuerpo. En escultura, el período se caracteriza por imágenes budistas Mahayana y sumamente desarrolladas lápidas votivas cuadrangulares de arcilla que se volvieron un estilo internacional extendido en gran parte del Sudeste de Asia y representaciones del panteón Mahayana. En arquitectura, el período presenta templos en planos cruciformes con celas rodeados por altares más pequeñas. |
