Note: Refers to the period of the Thai kingdom of Dvaravati that flourished from the 7th to the 11th century. Artistic production of this period primarily consisted of Theravada Buddhist monumental sculpture carved from schistous limestone and painted with red pigment, gilded bronze sculptures, bas-relief sculpture with stucco decorations representing scenes from the J'takas and accompanied by guardians and mythical animals, stupa structures modeled after Indian prototypes featuring a hemispherical construction and low square base surmounted by spires composed of flat rings crowned by a bulb, and rectangular wihan built in brick with clay mortar on laterite bases. Examples of temple complexes in this period are evidenced in the precincts of Wat Kukut in Lamphun. The temples of this period feature laterite construction, receding square tiers, pointed spires composed of many concentric rings and decorated with small stupa, and niches containing standing Buddha images in stucco and terracotta.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 指泰國陀羅缽地王國的統治時代。陀羅缽地王國盛行於西元七至十一世紀之間。此時代的藝術作品主要包括以頁岩石灰石雕製並漆以紅色顏料的小乘佛教雕刻、鍍金的青銅雕刻、有灰泥裝飾的淺浮雕，多描繪出自J'takas的景象並伴隨著守護神與神聖動物）、模仿印度風格的舍利塔結構，特色是其半球結構與上以平環圈繞成尖塔且上有圓球的低矮方形基座（、於紅土地基上以泥灰漿及磚頭建造的矩形威罕（wihan，））。此時期的寺廟建築展現於南奔（Lamphun）的古庫特寺（Wat Kukut）。此時代的寺廟呈現了以下特色：紅土結構、級級下降的方形階層、以許多同心環構成並裝飾著小舍利塔的尖塔、內部供奉灰泥與赤陶立佛的壁龕。 |
| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de periode van het Thaise koninkrijk van Dvaravati, dat floreerde vanaf de 7de tot de 11de eeuw. De artistieke productie uit deze periode bestond voornamelijk uit Theravada-boeddhistische monumentale beeldhouwkunst die werd beeldgesneden uit schisteus zandsteen en beschilderd met rood pigment, vergulde bronzen beeldhouwwerken, beeldhouwwerk in bas-reliëf met stucwerkversieringen die taferelen afbeelden van de J'takas, vergezeld door bewakers en mythische dieren, stoepaconstructies die zijn gemodelleerd naar Indiase prototypen die worden gekenmerkt door een halve bol-constructie en een laag, vierkant basement waarbovenuit spitsen steken die zijn samengesteld uit platte ringen gekroond met een bol, en rechthoekige wihan gebouwd van baksteen met kleimortel op laterietbasementen. Voorbeelden van tempelcomplexen uit deze periode zijn te vinden op het terrein van Wat Kukut in Lamphun. De tempels uit deze periode worden gekenmerkt door laterietconstructies, terugwijkende vierkante verdiepingen, puntige spitsen die zijn samengesteld uit een groot aantal concentrische ringen en zijn versierd met kleine stoepa's, en nissen met staande Boeddhabeelden in stucwerk en terracotta. |
| Spanish ..... Se refiere al período del reino tailandés de Dvaravati que floreció desde el siglo XVII al siglo XI. La producción artística de este período consistió principalmente en Theravada escultura monumental budista tallada en piedra caliza y pintada con pigmento rojo, esculturas de bronce doradas, esculturas de bajo relieve con decoraciones de estuco que representan escenas del J'takas y acompañado por guardianes y animales míticos, las estructuras de stupa modeladas después de los prototipos indios ofrecen una construcción hemisférica y base cuadrada baja transmontadas por espirales compuestos de anillos planos coronados por una bombilla y los wihan rectangulares construidos en ladrillo con argamasa de arcilla en las bases laterales. Ejemplos de complejos de templo en este período se evidencian en los recintos de Wat Kukut en Lamphun. Los templos de este período ofrecen construcción de laterita y gradas cuadradas que van alejandose, espirales puntiagudas compuestas de muchos anillos concéntricos y decoradas con stupa pequeños y nichos que contienen imágenes de Buda de pie en estuco y terracota. |
