Note: Refers to the culture and period from around 300 BCE to around 300 CE in Japan, so-named for the discovery of a characterisitc pottery found in the Yayoi section of Tokyo. This period saw the development of wet-rice agriculture, the use of bronze and iron, and the production of unglazed earthenware in a variety of shapes and decoratives styles.

Deze periode werd gekenmerkt door de ontwikkeling van natte-rijstcultuur, het gebruik van brons en ijzer en de productie van ongeglazuurd aardewerk in een groot aantal vormen en decoratieve stijlen. 
Spanish ..... Se refiere al período alrededor del 300 a.C al 300 d.C, nombrado para el descubrimiento de una cerámica del características propias en la sección de Yayoi de Tokio.
