Hymettian marble (white marble, <marble by color or pattern>, ... Materials (hierarchy name))

Note: A bluish white marble with bands of parallel gray lines that originates from Mount Hymettus, near Athens, Greece. It can sometimes be slightly green in color, due to the presence of tiny veins of talc and it gives off a fetid odor when sawn or rubbed which is why it is sometimes called onion marble or marmor cipolla. Hymettian marble was often used for both pagan and Christian sarcophagi.

Additional Notes:
Dutch .....
