Note: A traditional European heating system by which a stove is covered completely with glazed ceramic tiles. Tile stoves usually burn wood, and the radiant heat that occurs is absorbed by the tiles and is slowly and evenly diffused through the spaces in which they are installed.

| Dutch ..... Type verwarmingssysteem waarbij een kachel volledig bedekt is met keramische, geglazuurde, tegels. Traditioneel worden tegelkachels op hout gestookt. De stralingswarmte die ontstaat door het stoken wordt opgenomen door de tegels en wordt langzaam en gelijkmatig verdeeld over de ruimte. |
