Note: Stone tools from the Palaeolithic period, more refined successors to the earlier "choppers." Both sides of the stone were worked to create a sharp edge. The cutting edge was not straight, but had a sinuous appearance.

Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Prehistorisch stenen werktuig uit het paleolithicum, betere en verfijndere opvolger van de oudere chopper. De steen werd aan twee kanten bewerkt om een scherpe rand te krijgen. De snijrand was niet recht, maar eerder golvend.
