Note: Refers to a style of vase decoration that is named for the site at Gnathia, Apulia, Italy, and dates from around 350 BCE through the early third century BCE. It is characterized by ornamentation painted in red and white on a black surface, and it has an apparent counterpart in the West Slope ware of Attica.
