Note: Refers to the culture associated with a city-kingdom in ancient Burma that flourished from about 1 CE to 9 CE and encompasses the southern regions Binnaka, Mongamo, Sri Ksetra, and Halingyi. Architecture in the region features vaulted temples, houses, palaces, and monasteries built of timber, roofed with tiles of lead and tin, and containing walls comprised of glazed brick. Decorative arts and crafts within households included kitchen utensils made from gold and household figurines made from gold, green glass, jade, and crystal. Cylindrical stupas or large burial urns of various dimensions adorned the periphery of the kingdom's city walls and temples.

Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de cultuur die is verbonden met een stad-koninkrijk in antiek Birma en die floreerde van circa 1 n. Chr. tot 9 n. Chr. en die de zuidelijke regio's Binnaka, Mongamo, Sri Ksetra en Halingyi omvat. Architectuur in de regio wordt gekenmerkt door gewelfde tempels, huizen, paleizen en kloosters gebouwd van hout en voorzien van daken die zijn bedekt met tegels van lood en tin, en die muren bevatten die zijn samengesteld uit geglazuurd steen. Decoratieve kunstnijverheid binnen huishoudens betrof keukengerei van goud en beeldjes van goud, groen glas, jade en kristal. Cilindrische stoepa's of grote grafurnen van diverse afmetingen versierden de periferie van de stadsmuren en tempels van het koninkrijk.
