Note: A fine pink marble, suitable for sculpture, of which a number of varieties exist. Tennessee marbles are generally harder and more compact than other American marbles, making them more suitable for outdoor use but also making them more difficult to carve and polish.

Additional Notes:
Chinese (traditional) ..... 一種細緻的粉紅色大理石,適合用於雕刻,包含許多品種。田納西大理石比起其它美國大理石,通常質地較硬及密實,也因此較適用於戶外,不過亦相對較難雕刻及磨亮。  
Dutch ..... Een fijn, roze marmer, geschikt voor beeldhouwwerk, dat in een aantal variaties wordt gevonden. Tennessee-marmers zijn over het algemeen harder en compacter dan andere Amerikaanse marmers, waardoor ze geschikter zijn voor gebruik buitenshuis, maar waardoor ze ook moeilijker kunnen worden bewerkt en gepolijst. 
Spanish ..... Mármol rosado fino, adaptado a la escultura, del cual existen muchas variedades. Los mármoles de Tennessee son en general más duros y compactos que otros mármoles norteamericanos, lo que los hace más adecuados para el aire libre pero también más difíciles de tallar y pulir.
