Note: A platform of sticks where Huitzilopochtli's ixiptlah, made of dough of amaranth seed, was seated in postclassic central Mexico. Used during the installation of the deity, it was made of huitzitzillacotl or "hummingbird sticks" and nacaztlacotl "ear sticks," describing the shape of the wood.

| Spanish ..... Una plataforma de palos donde estaba sentado el ixiptlah de Huitzilopochtli en México central posclásico, hecho de masa de semilla de amaranto. Utilizada durante la instalación de la deidad, estaba hecha de huitzitzillacotl o "palos de colibrí" y nacaztlacotl "palos de oreja", términos que refieren a la forma de los palos. |
