Note: Species of evergreen native to Oregon and elsewhere in the U.S., growing to 60 m (200 feet) in height and 6 m (about 20 feet) in diameter. It is a very hardy tree, having over 200 forms cultivated as ornamentals in North America and Great Britain. Many of these are dwarfs.

Het is een zeer wintervaste boom, die in meer 200 vormen voorkomt en die als sierboom in Noord-Amerika en Groot-Brittannië wordt geteeld. In veel gevallen betreft het dwergbomen. |
