Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Genus van zoogdieren met drie tot zeven soorten (afhankelijk van de classificatie). De dieren komen voor in Noord-, Midden- en Zuid-Amerika. Het zijn nachtdieren en omnivoren. Ze leven in bomen, zijn intelligent en hebben een dikke staart met ringen en een donker masker rond de ogen. De duimen zijn niet opponeerbaar, maar zodanig geplaatst dat de dieren kleine dingen kunnen grijpen en hanteren.
