Chinese (traditional) ..... 木材或其他材料中的凹處或開口,用以承接相對應的組件(又名「榫頭」),兩者連接後,即形成接合點。在建築上,若要指稱以此方式形成的完整接點,則用「卯榫接點」。 
Dutch ..... Een holte of opening in hout of een ander materiaal bedoeld voor een corresponderend element, een ���tap', om twee onderdelen met elkaar te verbinden. Gebruik ���pen-en-gat-verbindingen' in de architectuur voor het geheel van deze verbinding. 
German ..... Eine Aussparung oder Öffnung in Holz oder anderem Material, dazu bestimmt, eine entsprechende Komponente oder "Zapfen" aufzunehmen, die, ineinander gesetzt, eine Verbindung bilden. Um im Bauwesen auf die vollständige Verbindung zu verweisen, die auf diese Weise gebildet wird, ist "Zapfenverbindung" zu verwenden.
