Chinese (traditional) ..... 用來泛指一種羅馬劍的詞彙,短小、具有雙邊刃口、尖銳。原本僅用來刺擊,劍柄沒有護手,為步兵團所使用。隨著時間演進,逐漸發展出劍刃較長,帶有小型護手的劍種,並且可用來進行刺擊與砍擊。 |
Dutch ..... Zwaarden van romeinse oorsprong met korte tweesnijdende rechte kling, gebruikt door infanteristen. |
German ..... Allgemeiner Begriff für das spitze, zweischneidige, römische Kurzschwert; ursprünglich nur als Stichwaffe und daher fast ohne Parierstange von der Infanterie verwendet. Im Laufe der Zeit entwickelten sich Formen mit längerer Klinge und kleiner Parierstange und die Nutzung wandelte sich zu einer Hieb- und Stichwaffe. |
Spanish ..... Término general para las espadas cortas romanas de doble filo y extremo puntiagudo, originariamente usadas solamente para estocadas y prácticamente sin guarnición, por la infantería. Con el tiempo, se desarrollaron otras versiones de hojas más largas y una pequeña guarnición, para servir tanto para estocadas como para cortes. |
