Note: Cantilevered chair designed in 1928 by Marcel Breuer at the Bauhaus, Dessau. Constructed of bent chromed tubular steel, wood, and cane, it has proved one of the most popular modernist chair designs and remains in production.

Additional Notes:
German ..... Freitragender Stuhl, der 1928 von Marcel Breuer am Bauhaus, Dessau, entworfen wurde. Aus gebogenem, verchromten Stahlrohr, Holz und Rohrgeflecht konstruiert, erwies sich das Modell als einer der beliebtesten modernen Stuhlentwürfe und wird bis heute produziert.
