| Dutch ..... Te gebruiken voor oud-Griekse tronen, gewoonlijk versierd, met een verhoogde zetel en vaak met een hoge rug en armleuningen. Ze hebben soms poten in de vorm van dierenpoten, gedraaid of rechthoekig, en soms zijkanten uit één stuk. Gebruikt door rijke of belangrijke personen en te zien op afbeeldingen van de Griekse goden. |

Altgriechischer, thronähnlicher Stuhl, der üblicherweise ornamentiert und mit einem hohen Sitz, häufig auch einem hohen Rückenbrett sowie Armlehnen ausgestattet war und der entweder auf Beinen, die in Tierfüßen endeten, gedrehten oder rechteckigen Beinen oder auf geschlossenen Seitenwangen in Brettbauweise stand. Er wurde von reichen oder bedeutenden Persönlichkeiten genutzt und ist auf Darstellungen von griechischen Göttern abgebildet. |
