Note: Refers to a Late Bronze Age culture evident by the 12th century BCE in east-central Europe and northern Italy, and spreading to the Ukraine, Sicily, Scandinavia, France, and the Iberian peninsula. It is named for the custom of placing the creamated bones of the deceased in urns, either within flat graves or round barrows. The culture is characterized by fortified settlements, distinctive pottery and metal forms, beaten-bronze armaments, and a slashing sword with flanged grips to protect the handle.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 指稱於西元前12世紀間，在中東歐與義大利北部發展的晚期青銅器時期文化，之後散播至烏克蘭、西西里、斯堪的那維亞半島、法國，以及伊比利半島。此文化以將往生者火化後的骨骸放置於骨灰甕之中的風俗習慣加以命名，這些骨灰甕可能埋藏在平坦的墓地之中，也可能是埋在以泥土或者是石塊堆積而成的圓形古墓裡面。此種文化的特徵為建有防禦工事的聚落、獨特的陶器與諸多金屬形式、錘平的青銅器軍備武器，以及輪柄保護把手的砍擊劍器。 |
| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar een cultuur uit de Late Bronstijd die zich voordeed in de 12de eeuw v. Chr. in het oosten van Midden-Europa en Noord-Italië, en die zich verspreidde over Oekraïne, Sicilië, Scandinavië, Frankrijk en het Iberisch schiereiland.Deze cultuur is genoemd naar de gewoonte om de verbrande resten van de overledenen te bewaren in urnen, in zowel vlakke graven als ronde grafheuvels. De cultuur kenmerkt zich door versterkte nederzettingen, opvallend aardewerk en metalen gietvormen, gesmeed bronzen wapentuig, en slagzwaarden met opstaande randen om het handvat te beschermen. |

Se refiere a una cultura de la Edad de Bronce Tardía visible por el siglo XII a.C. en el centro-este de Europa e Italia del norte, y que se extiende a Ucrania, Sicilia, Escandinavia, Francia y la península ibérica. Se denomina por la costumbre de poner los huesos cremados del difunto en urnas, o dentro de tumbas planas o túmulos redondos. La cultura se caracteriza por asentamientos fortificados, cerámica y formas de metal distintivas, armamentos de bronce hachos a percusión y una espada cortante con asideros rebordeados para proteger el asa. |
