Note: Wood of trees belonging to the genus Khaya, native to Africa. It has a pink heartwood when freshly sawn, which darkens to a pinkish-brown to a deep red. It closely resembles true mahogany. It is used for making cabinets, musical instruments, veneer, furniture, boat planking and cabins, banisters, and handrails.

Chinese (traditional) ..... 屬於非洲楝屬(Khaya)喬木的木材,原生於非洲,剛鋸下時的心材為粉紅色,之後會變深,呈桃紅棕色到深紅色,用於製造家具、表面飾板、船板和船艙、欄杆、扶手。 
Dutch ..... Hout van de boom behorende tot het genus Khaya, inheems in Afrika. Net gezaagd heeft het roze kernhout, dat verdonkert naar kleuren variërend van rozeachtig bruin tot dieprood. Het wordt gebruikt voor het maken van meubilair, fineer, dekken en kooien van schepen, balustraden en trapleuningen. 
Spanish ..... Madera del árbol perteneciente al género Khaya, nativo de Africa. Tiene un duramen rosado recién aserrado, que se oscurece hasta alcanzar un marrón rosado a rojo profundo. Es utilizado en la fabricación de muebles, chapas, planchas y cabinas de bote, balaustradas y pasamanos.
