Drop in on art with Artful Weekends, a free workshop that combines a gallery visit with a hands-on art project.
How to Participate
Stop by the workshop table outside the Family Room in the Museum Courtyard and pick up an activity sheet in English or Spanish. The handout will help you get acquainted with a work of art in the galleries.
After you're done, head back to the workshop table to make a project inspired by the art you've just seen. You'll leave the Museum having not only admired a masterpiece, but made one yourself, too.
The program is geared for families with children ages five and up, but anyone can participate.
