Following their journey from Germany to Holland to South America, the festival explores the musical traditions of Suriname and the fauna and flora that surround us today. Create a plant rubbing, watch real botanical and natural science illustrators at work, listen to stories about insects and the rain forest, and let your mind go! Complements the exhibition Maria Sibylla Merian & Daughters: Women of Art and Science.
