Chairs bridge the gap between function and decoration. As objects they often embody the artistry, materials, and production technologies of their historical periods. Join Jeremy Glatstein and Mary Beth Carosello in an exploration of chairs, from the 18th century to present day. This course focuses on the Museum's collection and offers a rare opportunity to see designer chairs found throughout the site.
