The Getty presents Robert Adams: Landscapes of Harmony and Dissonance, at the Getty Center from February 7 - May 28, 2006. One of the most important figures in contemporary American photography, Robert Adams has photographed the vast landscape of the American West for more than forty years. This exhibition explores Adams long career in approximately 100 photographs taken over a 30-year period. The exhibition builds upon a major acquisition of a group of Adams photographs, making the Getty one of the most important repositories of the artists work in the country.
