Close to Home: An American Album is devoted to American family photographs that chronicle the events of everyday life. Many of these snapshots were separated from their owners and rediscovered by artists, writers, collectors, and museum curators. Close to Home also features family portraits by well-known photographers such as Dorothea Lange and Edward Weston. The accompanying online photo album showcases visitors' own snapshots, offering the public a unique opportunity to be a part of the exhibition.
