The J. Paul Getty Museum grants permission to download collection images from our website for your own personal and non-commercial use, or for fair use as defined in the United States copyright laws. The Getty also makes available, without charge, all available digital images to which the Getty holds the rights or that are in the public domain to be used for any purpose. Except as expressly permitted above, requests for all other uses must be made in writing, and the Museum will only consider requests to use or reproduce images of objects in its collection for scholarly, educational, or non-commercial purposes. Each request is separately considered, and permission is granted on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the Museum. Fees apply depending on the type and nature of the intended use.
