PST: LA/LA Culminating Events

In early May, two events marked the conclusion of Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA. The first was the release of the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation's Economic Impact Analysis Report for PST: LA/LA, which revealed that the initiative added $430.3 million in overall economic output and supported 4,080 jobs. The second was a ceremony at the Getty Center announcing the winners of the PST: LA/LA Student Arts Challenge, organized by the LA Promise Fund with grant support as part of the county-wide education program for public schools. Winners in four categories—Visual Arts, Creative Writing, Film/Media Arts, and Performing Arts—and one overall Grand Prize winner received college scholarship funds in honor of their creations.
