Pacific Standard Time Residential Grants
Please note that the 2009 deadline to apply for Pacific Standard Time Residential Grants at the Getty Research Institute has passed. Information regarding these grants remains on this site for your reference only.

Pacific Standard Time Residential Grants support scholars interested in developing the history of postwar art in Los Angeles. Topics are expected to relate to the Getty's research initiative, Pacific Standard Time: Art in L.A 1945–1980 and may include projects that investigate movements, artists, and ideas that have yet to receive significant scholarly attention, or those that acknowledge the importance of networks—interpersonal, artistic, institutional—in the development of Southern California's artistic landscape. For more information about Pacific Standard Time, please consult the Pacific Standard Time Web page.

Eligibility
These grants are for established scholars, writers, independent researchers, or pre- and postdoctoral candidates.
