Discover the heroes, mythological creatures, athletes, and daily lives of the ancient Greek and Roman world with an audio tour designed just for families. Rent a multimedia player for $5 at the Pick-Up Desk on Floor 1 of the Museum.
For visitor tips and activity ideas, pick up a Be a Getty Villa Voyager brochure, in both English and Spanish, which offers a wealth of gallery games and creative drawing exercises.

Always FREE! No tickets or reservations are required for general admission or parking.

The Getty Center site and galleries are open:

 Tuesday–Friday10:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
 Saturday10:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
 Sunday10:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Closed Mondays and on January 1, July 4, Thanksgiving, and December 25.

CLOSED on Saturday and Sunday, July 16 and 17, due to construction on the 405 freeway.

Parking
Parking is $15, but FREE after 5:00 p.m. for Saturday nights at the Getty Center.

Food and Snacks
The Cafe offers kid-friendly food and snacks including pizza, grilled cheese, and peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwiches. Families are also welcome to bring their lunch and enjoy a picnic at any of the Getty Center's public seating areas.

Strollers
Standard strollers, as well as wheelchairs, are available at the Lower Tram Station (T1) and at the coat check desk in the Museum Entrance Hall. Child-carrying backpacks are not allowed in the galleries.

Family Restroom
A family restroom equipped with a private nursing area is located in the South Pavilion. All Getty Center public restrooms have diaper-changing tables.

Admission
Always FREE! An advance, timed ticket is required for each adult. Each Villa general admission ticket allows you to bring up to three children ages 15 and under with you in one car. Book your free tickets to the Getty Villa online here or call (310) 440-7300.

The Getty Villa site and galleries are open:

Closed Tuesdays and on January 1, July 4, Thanksgiving, and December 25.

Please note that the Getty Villa will be CLOSED on the following Wednesdays to accommodate preparations for our annual Outdoor Theater Production:

Parking
Parking is $15.

Food and Snacks
The Cafe offers a "bambino" menu with selections including pasta and meatballs, grilled cheese panini, and parmesan chicken fingers. Families are also welcome to bring their lunch and enjoy a picnic at any of the Getty Villa's public seating areas.

Get to the Getty Villa via public transportation!

The Getty Villa is served by Metro Bus 534, which stops at Coastline Drive and Pacific Coast Highway directly across from the Getty Villa entrance.

Please note that passengers riding the bus to visit the Getty Villa must have their Villa admission ticket hole-punched by the driver before exiting the bus.
