February 5 marks the close of two major Pacific Standard Time exhibitions at the Getty Center.

Pacific Standard Time: Crosscurrents in L.A. Painting and Sculpture, 1950–1970
Crosscurrents surveys the rich diversity of painting and sculpture in postwar L.A., featuring over 75 works ranging from politically charged assemblages to hard-edge abstractions. "Not only confirms but solidifies L.A.'s place in the annals of art history," says the L.A. Times.

Greetings from L.A.: Artists and Publics, 1950–1980
Showcasing rare photos and documents from the Getty Research Institute's special collections, Greetings from L.A. reveals how artists experimented with new ways of making art, finding an audience, and tackling social issues.
