I work in a large public school near Albany NY and we have a gallery.
The art wing is a bit seperated from the rest of the school. This puts
us in a bit of isolation, which has both benfits and draw backs,
ofcourse....
But the hallway that seperates us is a dedicated gallery: one wall is
windows, the other wall is "solid" with track lighting and it is wide
enough for us to have sculptures exhibited as well as 2-D work. Let me
know if I can be of any further help.
