New question. New art teacher this year (first year ) and my advanced art
class is not so advanced at all.. In fact they just think that they are
awesome. Yes, some of them have great talent, but they have shown me that
they can not have too much freedom when it comes to assignments.
What lessons do you do with your advanced classes this early in the year,
(that are challenging and exciting), yet are still valid learning
experiences which seem like they have total freedom.... For the past 4 years
they have been drawing only and really did much of what ever they wanted!!
Their next lesson will be tonal drawings of popcorn on black cardstock and
then creating a second drawing (colored pencil) out of the outline of the
same popcorn. Kind of like what you see when you look up in the clouds....
realism and then abstract....sound ok?
Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thank you for all of your input.
