dear jill, we have had excellent luck gluing cut cellophane to fairly firm
acetate backing. the students start by drawing their stain glass images on
paper, taping the paper under the acetate, laying the cellophane on top of
the acetate, cutting it to fit with exacto knife, or tracing it with a
marking pen, and then gluing it. because i work in an international school,
our dec. themes can last for months, and so the stained glass pieces stay on
the entrance windows for months. it's lovely. the cellophane can overlap to
make different values and shades of colors. great stuff, eileen
