Iss/Recovery Room Projects

I teach art at what we call the 6th grade center. Our building has a
new "Recovery Room" for students who can't handle being in the classroom
due to behavior. There is a whole system set up for it and it does
work. We call it BIST. Behavior Intervention Strategy Technique. Kids
are taught to be responsible for their behavior. Well right now there
is one particular student who will be in the recovery room for a while.
I'm guessing about a month or so untuil he can handle going back to his
regular classes. Until then I need to come up with small projects that
he can do in recovery. It's like an ISS atmosphere with lots of
guidance. Any ideas? I always assign artist reports to my ISS kids.
Well this is different. I'm looking for a few long term projects that
he could do with little help from me. I talk to him for about 10
minutes each day and need to bring him something quick. Right now he is
building a fantasy shoe from construction paper and is about finished.
