Mosaics! of course, what a great idea. All three locations have great
ancient examples of mosaics - a cross-cultural commonality. Keep in mind
that many of the ones in Israel are actually Roman-occupation works, like
the ones at Masada, and stuff in Rome are often copies of older stuff in
Greece.
Scrolls would be another - all three used (and still use) scrolls or rolls
as bookforms. Easy to find pictures - portraits, etc., of people holding
rolls and scrolls.
