Tonight I'm framing a woodcut to deliver to a show called the 12" x
12" -(any Oklahomans out there, it's worth the price of admission, really,
even if it weren't the best place to see art from the 120 invited
contemporary artists in Oklahoma....then for the food - I'd be happy to
email more details) So I was thinking about Karen Kunc up in Nebraska and
wondering what her work was looking like these days, since last I saw she
was trying to break out of the rectangle.

This is a nice interview with photos and a short working video of Karen
pulling a print.

We've had this posted on the list before, but it is worth repeating -
This site from Omaha schools is about Karen Kunc and includes intermediate
lesson plans.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if other states would honor their contemporary
artists by designing lesson plans around their work.

Karen's gallery in DC with several pages of NEW work -- this must be the
entire gorgeous exhibit. She gets better all the time.
