We all know Reatha form our Listserv. Last I heard from her via email, she
said she was planning to evacuate her home. Her parents are also on the coast
of SC. I have really felt concern for the people who suffered through Hugo.
Reatha, if you get this, we are all thinking of you!
We were fortunate to have Floyd by-pass us. We are slowly taking down storm
shutters and gratefully trying to get back to normal.
My prayers are for all those on the Eastern seaboard that are in the path of
Floyd. Only a miracle kept it from us. On radar, it was incredible to see how
the band on the landfall side of the hurricane was narrowed so that even the
strong gusts didn't reach us! Most of it appeared to be over the ocean. This
is one grateful babe! They say this was worse in intensity than Andrew.
