TMH abd severely handicapped students in the art room

I received a real surprise one week before school started....I "get" to
teach the high school age TMH students and the severely handicapped
students in our district twice a week for 30 minutes each....all in the
same class! I am the high school art teacher and haven't had any experience
in this area at all and am requesting any ideas from you all in this area.

These students range from ages 14-19 with motor skills about kindergarten
level (give or take a little). An aide comes with each group so I usually
have 2 or 3 aides to assist.

I have no curriculum or state guidelines (are there state guidelines for
this area???). So far, I have been doing things such as drawing/coloring,
cutting/gluing, and paper weaving to test out their motor skills and to see
how well they follow instructions.
