On getting donated supplies.....

I get mat board and foam core from a local frame shop (really large pieces
too!...not just small scraps). I also went to a sign company and asked if
they could donate some scraps. The stuff is great....sticky vinyl that can
easily be cut. I got a bunch of rolls in different colors. Also, parents
are a terrific resource. My annual wish list went home this week and when I
went into school today there was a Singer sewing machine in my room. I put
one on the list this year but really didn't think I'd get a response! Fabric
stores are another place to get donated goods. I get loads of it from a
parent who happens to work there. Another place to go is a paint store. I
have gotten the local paint store to donate cans to supplement the art
program. It can't hurt to ask and always send a thank you card!
Hope this helps.
